Common Speedwell

While walking in my local park I noticed several tiny blue attractive flowers growing on the edge of the woodland. Back home I identified them as Common Speedwell.
 Each flower has a long purple pistyl and two long stamens with colourful anthers which here are loaded with pollen.

 At 200x magnification the individual pollen grains reveal their elliptical shape with grooves running along the longitudinal axis.
